The 10 Best Jewelry Sites (except: 11, and with stuff under $50)

In no particular order, here are some of the sites I scour for affordable, non-corny jewelry. They may surprise you:
1. Charm and Chain (Beaded Yellow Chain Necklace by Sequin $60) a great site with a ton of unique brands and a great vintage section.
2. Forever 21 (Rhinestone necklaces around $19.80) which seems obvious but guys honestly, have you ever been able to deal with the jewelry section in the store itself? It's a freakin' mess. Online, you can really scour the place and I think it's fairly easy to tell what's junky and what's awesome. The necklace above sold out within the day I did this post - which makes my point! - the link is to a similar item, and here's another for only $6.80 that's super fresh.
3. Cursive Design (Forcefield crystal necklace $44) Go the main page of this site and tell me it isn't what everyone and their hipster mom tries to make and sell on Etsy - but perfectly executed and thus way, way better? I think every item on here would make an amazingly thoughtful gift [email me for my mailing address. just kidding.]
4. Forward by Revolve (Low Luv Erin Wasson Pyramid Knuckle Ring $48) this site carries Low Luv, Pamela Love, and everything else you love to love.
5. Rachel Roy (Drusy and crystal ring $42) ... it's okay, I didn't realize Rachel Roy made AMAZING jewelry that fulfills all your cravings either ... You aren't the only person falling off your chair tonight. Double finger enameled snake ring much? Rhinestone studded skull drop earrings much, much? You'll die - trust me. Go!!
6. Madewell (Mixed metal bangles $35) ... if you don't have the store in your town, no worries, it's all here, and the jewelry covers a lot of basic bases. I spent a million years trying to commission an ID bracelet on Etsy and then I found this here.
7. Club Monaco on Shopbop (Open cuff bracelet $49) Now that Club Monaco is finally online through Shopbop, you can buy some of the fantastic things I saw at their launch party the other night and wanted to accidentally get stuck on my finger/arm - oops - and have to leave with.

8. Max & Chloe (Sobral Indiana mixed colors bracelet $40) You've probably heard of this site but it's always good to be reminded of what is essentially a contemporary jewelry emporium.
9. Ann Taylor (Large Pave Pyramid Bracelet $29.99 - was $68) Yup, it's true. Dig through the pearls and you'll find swag. Their oversized chainlink jewelry was some of the best mass jewelry of the season - no wonder it's all sold out.
10. Fragments (Beaded braided leather bracelet $38) For me, Fragments is like Tiffany's For Cool People. I mean, I love Tiffany's as much as the next girl, but I don't actually want anything that comes from there. Forget the blue box - you could get me something from Fragments and put it in a blue dog poo pick up bag and I'd be thrilled.
11. Nasty Gal (Deco chain ring $22) Though they have a tiny selection, they usually carry those must-have little things at super affordable prices.

Oh, I was at the Club Monaco party too! Wish we'd gotten to actually meet -- next time! And I second that Ann Taylor has some surprisingly great jewelry -- I've gotten tons of compliments on my inexpensive pieces from there!
I've never really gotten into the crystal trend, but #3 is just amazing!

Excellent picks! And even better reco's for ones I didn't know or had forgotten. I always go trolling around Shopbop's 70% off when I'm craving something new, but these other sites are just as cool and largely more affordable than even their 70% off... yay.
