The road to fashion blogging success is apparently paved with agate: Cupcakes & Cashmere has been down it with her rings and necklaces, and Fashion is Poison will be merging on shortly with several collections. Brook&Lyn is pretty much winning the race with the totally original (and impossible to D.I.Y.- at least so far ... ) Surrounded collection.
Anyway, I'm kind of fascinated with it all right now - I have a druzy ring on my list for the moment my 30 day spending freeze is over (they're the rock sugar ones). Agate's natural color palette is so summery, and also so fall-ish and rich, so I think worth my investment ... Thoughts?

Oh boy, I'm totally obsessing over all of Brook&Lyn's pieces. The rope... the stones... they're just so good. Love your picks (my favorite obviously being naked boy lounging behind geode). Very nice, indeed!

Gorgeous (except the fellow getting very close with the amethyst geode)! I've been a bit of a rockhound since I was a kid, and although I drool over fine gems, I also love this trend of chunky, colorful semiprecious gems in finer jewelry settings.
