I take privacy very seriously!  You can access Holier than Now and browse the site without disclosing your personal data. Holier than Now enables you to communicate with other visitors or to post information to be accessed by myself and others in the comment section. When you do so, other visitors may collect the data you choose to include there. I do not share names or email addresses collected in the comment section without consent, and I never sell this information.

I use third parties including Google and others to provide advertising on this site.  Such third party providers may collect personal data about you (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) and about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. All content on Holier than Now is created without bias, regardless of sponsor, affiliate, or consulting relationships.  This blog is not free for me to run and I dedicate tons of time to making it awesome! I do partake in some activities to earn money from this site.

I run paid or affliate advertising in the left navigation bar and beneath some posts.  I carefully choose my sponsors and affiliates to reflect my tastes and the general vibe of this blog, and I hope they appeal to you too!  I welcome comments on my advertising choices - just email me at ann@holierthannow dot com!

Occasionally, I may link to products within posts and receive compensation for your interactions with these links and/or resulting purchases (i.e., I have an affiliate relationship with some sites). Trust that I spend a zillion hours building my shopping posts and I only include products that I REALLY LOVE from brands and companies that I respect. The compensation is not enough - believe me - to include something I don't like, because chances are you won't like it either! Sponsored posts are clearly labeled as such.  Otherwise, I do not accept cash payments for product mentions, but sometimes products I mention were given to me as a gift.  If this is the case, I make it clear in the post.  Like many editors and publishers, on occasion I may receive a gift bag or gift card from a brand.  Items purchased with a gift card are noted as a gift.  Receipt of any type of promotional gift or materials does not affect whether or not I post about a brand or product or the tone of the post.

Outside of blogging, I'm a branding and innovation consultant.  Occasionally, I may mention or recommend the products of my clients because I genuinely think they're relevant and awesome, but I do not receive compensation for doing so.
